Tandem Skydives
Not sure that you want to skydive more than once? Then a tandem skydive is the way to go. After about a half hour of instruction you'll be ready for a once in a lifetime experience. You'll be attached to your instructor with a special harness and use a special parachute built for two. You'll experience the thrill of a tandem freefall for 1 full minute from 13,000' with the comfort of having a highly experienced instructor to guide you. After you open the parachute you get to experience the spectacular views as you slowly descend over the next five minutes to the earth for a nice easy landing. Classes are offered all day until 4 - 5 pm. For your safety, you must weigh under 225 lbs and be at least 18 years old. Allow about half a day for a tandem jump. Don't forget that we can photograph and videotape your jump for memories that will last a lifetime and will make you the envy of all your friends. Reservations are recommended.

Accelerated Freefall Program
The Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) program is the industry standard for skydive certification. In only eight jumps you can receive your certificate that allows you to jump without instructors anywhere in the world. And if you want photos or video of yourself in freefall, we can arrange that as well. You must weigh 225 lbs. or less and be at least 18 years old for AFF.
Your ground instruction takes from 6 to 8 hours (depending on class size) and begins at 8 am sharp. The instruction is much more detailed because you're in charge of this skydive. You have instructors who will exit the airplane with you, fly by your side to guide and assist you during your nearly one minute of freefall. The instructors will leave your side after you have deployed your own parachute. After 4 - 5 minutes of awesome views, you will land your parachute under radio guidance from your ground instructor. Reservations and a $50 deposit (applied to your first jump) are required.

Safety Information
Skydiving has improved a great deal in the past decade. All student rigs are equipped with Automatic Activation Devices (AAD's) that are designed to deploy your parachute should you fail to do so. Modern parachutes are fully controllable which when used properly eliminate collisions with other objects on the ground (like trees and buildings) and allow for "tip-toe" landings which are nice and soft. We strictly follow all FAA and USPA guidelines for everyone's safety and enjoyment.
A high quality education on the ground before ever stepping out of an airplane is paramount to safe and enjoyable skydiving. Paradise Skydives has some of the most experienced instructors available. Each instructor is very experienced and certified by the United States Parachute Association. We are very proud of our safety record averaging hundreds of student jumps each year.
Age Requirements
Anyone participating in skydiving activities at Paradise Skydives, Inc. must be at least 18 years old. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause anyone and this cannot be negotiated.
Physical Requirements
You do not need to be an athlete to skydive, --but you must be in good health and under 225 lbs. Some jumpers with disabilities can also be accommodated. Please call ahead to talk with an instructor if you have a disability that requires an accommodation.

Please Note: Payment for photographic and video services is handeled seperately from Paradise Skydives, Inc. The freefall photographers and videographers work independently, so while we can take reservations for them, it is helpful if come prepared to pay them seperately. Freefall video is $85.00 and is payable with cash or checks.
